Donate money. If you would like to donate money to Windsor Service Alliance, please make a check out to: WSA and send to PO Box 138, Windsor, CA 95492.

 

Ways to Volunteer. Envelope stuffers. We mail our Appeal Letter to the Windsor community once a year. This letter asks for donations to help us help those in need. This letter is our main source of revenue. We stuff about 12,000 envelopes in September and October. We need help stuffing envelopes with this annual event.

 

Our new Community Garden Program is in need of Garden Volunteers to help tend and harvest the vegetables for our food distribution program. Soon, we will ask that you fill out a WSA Community Garden Volunteer Application and our Garden Program will be in contact with you.

 

We are also currently looking for Board of Directors. We would like to wish former Board of Director, Millie Tunis, a warm "thank you" for all of her support and participation. She will be missed.

 

Wish List. We are currently in need of a copier and printer for our office.

 

Board of Directors. Meets quarterly at the pantry on the 1st Monday of the month.

 

Pantry Coordinator. Coordinates the food pickup, restocking of food, volunteers and management of the pantry.

 

Friday Volunteers. Morning volunteers - 4 to 6 people. Pack the bags, sort eggs and pastries and set up for the afternoon volunteers. The afternoon volunteers help with distribution of the food, sign up new customers and help count the number of customers serviced that week.

 

WSA Drivers. Pick up donated food from Raley’s and Safeway between 6-7:30am Sunday thru Friday.

 

News - Christmas Gift Program. We help coordinate this event with the Windsor Kiwanis club. This year Christmas gifts will be given out to children under 13 years old. The gifts will be distributed on December 18th, 2010 between 1-3pm at the Windsor Grange Hall located at 9161 Starr Road.
